He was predeceased by: his parents, C. O. Blackstock and Lillie Mae Haman Blackstock; his wife Betty Basinger; his granddaughter Kelly Blackstock; his great grandchild Anna Brett Boothe; his stepson Van Basinger (Deborah); and his stepgrandson Gabe Basinger (Kylie).
He is survived by: his sister Geneva Miller; his children, Ken Blackstock (Terri) and Jane Boothe (Vern); his stepdaughter Lynn Whitlaw (Ron); his grandsons, Lindsey Blackstock (Anna), Clay Boothe (Christine), Brett Boothe (Stacie) and Spencer Boothe (Casey); his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Basinger (Shannon), Michelle King (Mike), Marie Pine (Ross), Kathey Dodson and Ann Browning (Bud); and his sister-in-law Betty Blackstock. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
