He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Day and Pauline Day; his sisters, Edna Francis and Walterine; his wife Darlene Day of Madison; his sons, Lee Day (Denny) of Baton Rouge, Steve Day (Fay) of Orlando and Andy Day (Corinne) of Madison, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Benjamin Day, Noah Day, Logan Day and Elizabeth Day-Schick; and his stepdaughters, Julie Reeves (Dwight), Kelly Aumann (Kurt) and Ruthie MacLain (Paul).
