He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Mae and Charles Arthur Bowers, Sr. of Memphis, TN.; and his siblings, Charles Arthur Bowers, Jr. and Brenda Marie Graves. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Nation; his child Kelly Gunter; his granddaughters, Jordan and Julie Gunter; his great grandchild Daizy Dennis (Jordan); his brother John Arthur Bowers; and his nephew Stephen Thomas Hartley.
