She was predeceased by: her father Ervin Max Ray, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Fay Stokes Ray; her husband James Gary Garner; her son John Tait Garner; her brother Gary Tait Ray (Tammy); her stepchildren, Ashley Garner Powell (Josh) and James Brent Garner; and her grandchildren, Cooper Garner, Abbie Garner and Shepherd Powell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
