He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson Coon and Ada Pearl Douglas Coon; and his siblings, Lamar, Jerry Coon and Bobbie Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Rives Coon; his children, Anne Coon Albritton (Michael) and John Mark Coon (Sharon); his grandchildren, Aidan Albritton, Max Coon, Molly Albritton, Maggie Coon, Paisley Albritton and Jack Coon; and his sister Peggy Coon Roberts (Billy). He is also survived by many inlaws, nieces, and nephews.
