She was predeceased by: her husband Perry Ford; her parents, William Hoover and Estelle Broussard Hoover; and her brother Louis Hoover. She is survived by: her children, William "Perry" Ford (Andrea), Richard H Ford (Anna), Robert "Bruce" Ford, Eloise Hilton, Missy Herring (David), Anna Claire Slay (John), Ellen Horton (Justin) and Anita Sumrall (Kenneth); and her brother Harry J. Hoover. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
