It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine B Magann of Madison, Mississippi, born in Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Buster" Brown and Marguerite Hinty Brown. She is survived by: her close friend Linda Vance; her children, Patrick Michael Magann (Victoria) of Bluefield, Christopher Mark Magann (Katherine) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Melissa Dane Magann of Brandon, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Hayley Magann, Hannah, Price, Adison and Kat Kelly Magann; her siblings, Dr. William "Bill" Brown (Jamie), Susan Lohin (Don) and Judy Long (David); her former husband Dr. Everett "Pat" Magann (Marcia); and her friends, Millie and Border Collie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with COVID-19 protocols, there will be a memorial service in the future to celebrate the life of Kakie.
