With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karlene Sue Peters (Madison, Mississippi), born in Decatur, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Lienhart and Elizabeth Lienhart; her husband Jim Peters; and her daughter-in-law Anne Mitchell Peters. She is survived by: her children, Mike Peters (Tonia) of Jackson, MS and Sheri Peters Fesmire (Rob) of Franklin, TN; her grandchildren, Mitch Peters (Ceejaye), Sam Peters (Courtney), Ryan Fesmire (Candace) and Jordan Fesmire Wiggs (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Anna Mitchell, Woods, Savannah, Elizabeth, Mire, Easton, Waylon, Marshall, Eleanor and Milton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a church charity of your choice.
