It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Owen (Madison, Mississippi), born in Canton, Mississippi, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Maxwell Owen and Marie Farr Owen Reid; his wife Billie "Kitty" Owen; and his granddaughter Sandra Puckett. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Thaggard of Madden, MS, John Owen of Jackson, Sherry Humphrey (Bob) of Huntsville, AL and Tamara Puckett of Jackson; his grandchildren, John Dean Puckett, Regan Humphrey, Will Humphrey, Dakota Killingsworth, Trace Thaggard and Storm Owen; and his siblings, Joe Maxwell and Loretta Newton.
