He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Mims and Kathryn Ellis Boswell; his grandfather John David; his wife Pat W. Boswell; his sons, John Ellis Boswell, Jr. and David Mims Boswell; his brother Harmon Mims Boswell, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Boswell.
He is survived by: his grandson John David Boswell (Summer); his great grandchild River Brooks Boswell; and his sister Dollie Boswell Young. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church.
