He was predeceased by: his parents, Sita Rani Sethi and Kanhaiya Lal Sethi; his parents-in-law, Tej Bhan and Ram Ditti; his wife Kaushyla Sethi; his brothers, Brij Lal Sethi and Mohan Lal Sethi; his sister-in-law Sushila Sethi; his sister Phulan Vanti Manaktala; his brother-in-law Brij Lal Manaktala; his sister Amrita Chatkara; and his brother-in-law Banwari Lal Chatkara.
He is survived by: his son Gagan Sethi; his daughter-in-law Lucky Sethi; his grandchildren, Joshua Sethi and Aashna Sethi; his son Amar Sethi; his daughter-in-law Angela Sethi; his grandchildren, Anisha Sethi and Shiv Sethi; his daughter Joty Budhraja; his grandchildren, Shawn Budhraja and Sunny Budhraja; his brother Krishan Sethi; his sister-in-law Phulan Sethi; his brother Dr. S. L. Sethi; his sisters-in-law, Raksha Sethi and Krishna Sethi; and his sister Shanta Khanna.
