She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy McCrory and Dollie Pickett McCrory; her husband Anslum A. "Sonny" Strong Jr.; and her daughter Sondra Strong Box. She is survived by: her sons, Randall Strong (Sherry), Dennis Strong (Judy) and Charles Strong (Linda); and her grandchildren, Jason Strong (Stephanie), Alison Gilmore (Brandon), Matt Strong (Christy), Miriam Carman (Kendall), Natalie Hutto (Jeremy), Lisa Strong Clark, Lindsay Bouchillon (Danny) and Adam Box (Ashley). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (127 Church Rd, Madison, MS 39110). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
