He was predeceased by: his wife Jan Layman; his daughter Tina Knight; his parents, William Layman and Oriel Layman; and his brother Wayne Layman.

He is survived by: his children, Michael (Nickie Layman) and Lisa Willoughby; and his grandchildren, Johnathan Willoughby, Erick Willoughby, Daniel Willoughby and Layla Layman.
