She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius and Ann Whitten Brame of Batesville; her son Brame Garner; and her grandparents, John Wesley Whitten, Elizabeth Price Whitten, Julius and Vannie Blair Brame.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Ellis Byrd; her children, Ernest Levi "Lee" Garner III (Beth) of Batesville and Ann "Whit" Whitten Bright (Shane) of Nesbit, MS; her brother Wesley Whitten Brame of Batesville; and her grandchildren, Ernest Levi Garner IV (Kristen), Miles Whitten Garner, Sloan Elle Garner, Brame Garner II (Jordan), McKinley Carter Garner (Ashlie), Preston Shane Bright and Ainsley Elizabeth Bright.
