It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy T. Shamburger (Madison, Mississippi), born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on May 13, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kimbrell Green Talbert and Elizabeth Covington Talbert; and her grandson Jimmy Shamburger. She is survived by: her husband Gordon; her children, Gaines of Clinton, MS and Trish Melech; and her grandchildren, Parker Melech (Katie) of Tampa, FL, Dr. Susan Shamburger (Clint Smith) and Dr. Amye Shamburger (Chad Alexander). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In order to keep our friends safe and healthy during the pandemic, we are having a private graveside ceremony for family on Saturday.
