She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Powell; her parents, Truman Flemmons and Dessie Green; her siblings, Vivian Brooks, Edmond and Johnny Flemmons; her mother-in-law Margaret Powell; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Wilson, Catherine Miller and Charlie Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Martin (David) of Madison, MS, Billy Scott Powell of Brandon, MS and Joel Powell (Wanda) of Florence, MS; her siblings, Mary Jane Chandler of Parchman, MS, Bud Flemmons of Hernando, MS, Arvin, Marvin Flemmons of Drew, MS and Don Flemmons (Rose) of Houston, TX; her sisters-in-law, Ann Padgett of Hattiesburg, MS and Freddie Ritter of Pearl, MS; her grandchildren, Kriston Ann Powell of Pearl, MS, Hope Wright (Jayce) of Florence, MS, Tyler Martin of Flowood, MS and Amber Martin of Madison, MS; and her great grandchildren, River and Abram Wright. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
