She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. "Sonny" McDonald and Mary Frances Hutchison McDonald of Kosciusko, MS. She is survived by: her sons, Jared Hopkins and Justin Hopkins; her siblings, Becky McDonald Kennedy and Tony McDonald; and her grandchildren, Jaycie, Krissah, Karli, Jovey and Charlie.

Memorial Donations may be made in Jan's name to the Twin Lake Baptist Church 673 Lake Cavalier Road, Madison, MS 39110.
