She was predeceased by: her parents, Howell Johnson and Bertie Mae Pennington Johnson; and her siblings, Charles Johnson and Faye Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Mitchell Smith; her sons, Robert Bruce Smith (Julie) and Donald Brian Smith; her brother Donald E. Johnson (Margaret); her grandchildren, Jourdan Anne Branning (Christian), Jamie Lyn Davis (Austin), Elizabeth Grace Smith and Robert H. Smith; her nephew Mitchell Penland; her niece Brenda Welch; and her great grandchildren, Miller, Cade and Anne Helen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Dr NE, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Of Christ Cemetery (1066 Jackson Liberty Dr NW, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
