She was predeceased by: her parents, Omega H. Shamblin and Lottie Mae Shamblin; her siblings, James Shamblin and Alta Mae Shamblin; her niece Stacey Klaus; and her nephew Sylvan Scott Klaus.
She is survived by: her husband Doc; her children, Stephanie Peets (Brad) of Lizella, Georgia and Chris Oakman of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Brett Peets, Drew Oakman, Khaki Peets (Matt Sherman), Katelyn Peets and Ashley LaBarre (Seth); her great grandchildren, Rivers and Reed LaBarre; and her sister-in-law Sue Shamblin. She is also survived by fur baby, Bear; a host of extended family and friends.
