He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Copeland Ricks; his daughter Wanda K. Ricks; his parents, Beeman Ricks and Lavada Lang Ricks of Louisville, MS; his parents-in-law, O. Curtis Copeland and Georgie Harrison Copeland of Philadelphia, MS; his siblings, J. Clarence (Opal Ricks), Herbert B. (Ludie Stovall Ricks), Arther E. (Jewel Ricks), J. W. Luke and Hazel Ricks Luke of Louisville, MS; and his sister-in-law Janice Copeland Thames of Frisco City, AL..
He is survived by: his children, Paula A. Ricks and Ronald P. Ricks; his daughter-in-law Pamela Wagner Ricks; his granddaughter Brandi F. Ricks; his great grandchild Layne Parks; and his brother-in-law Bush Thames of Frisco City, AL.. He is also survived by extended family including many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Madison.
