He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben V. Evans Jr. and Virginia Leggett Evans. He is survived by: his wife Jan Hegwood Evans; his children, Sara Pope (Derek) of Dripping Springs, TX and Ben V. Evans IV (Katie) of Nashville, TN.; his grandchildren, John Wyatt, Charlotte, June and Emmett Pope; and his sister Cathy Evans Moore (Jim) of Southlake, TX. He is also survived by nephew and nieces and numerous friends.
