He is survived by: his daughter Jill Rutledge Maxwell; his granddaughters, Kristi Mize Klein and Rachel Mize Whitehead; and his stepchildren, Kim Ludington, Karyn Ludington Staton, Mark Ludington and Eric Galyean. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
