He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, O. L. Hailey and Mary Alice Sciple Hailey; his wife Margaret West Watkins; his children, W. G. Watkins (Polly) of Madison and Billy Watkins (Susan) of Ridgeland; and his siblings, Levi Hailey, David Hailey and Vondelle Hailey Fairbanks. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren and especially his great grandchildren.
