He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Bush and Georgia Mae Thompkins Bush; his daughter Lashundra Robinson; and his brother John Bush. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Brown Bush; his children, Phillip Bush (Lauren) of Virginia, Shawn Bush of Macon, MS, Kizzle Prince of Macon, MS, Roshanda Prince of Macon, MS and Juakisha Prince of Macon, MS; his sisters, Emma Halbert (Willie) of Macon, MS, Barbara Cheatham of Macon, MS and Betty Bush Roby of Lawrenceville, GA; his stepchildren, John Brown of Brooksville, MS, Daniel Brown of Macon, Marlo Brown of Chicago, IL, Robbin Brown of Chicago, IL and Dannette Jamison of Brooksville; his brothers, Cleo Bush (Birdie) of Macon, MS, Larry Bush of Macon, MS, Curtis Bush (Edna) of Shuqualak, MS and Roosevelt Bush; and his aunts, Dollie Taylor (Ethel Price) of Macon, MS and Hattie P. Bush (Lola Bush) of Columbus, MS. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grand children; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
