It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer U Mast (Macon, Mississippi), who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Uriah Mast and Elizabeth Mast; his wife Lydia Marie Troyer; his son Paul Mast; his grandson Gregory Mast; and his siblings, Beulah Beachy, Elizabeth Miller, Omar, Otis, Joseph, Glen, Robert, Roman, William and Samuel.
He is survived by: his children, Dewayne Mast (Linda) of Olathe, CO, Joanna Mast (John) of Macon, MS, Mervin Mast (Linda) of Rustburg, VA, Sharon Wald (William) of Wrightsville, GA and Melvin Mast (Robin) of Scottsville, VA; his siblings, Nancy Chupp of Eden Valley, MN, Wilber Mast (Judy) of Etna Green, IN. and Uriah Jr. Mast of Nappanee, IN; and also, Cynthia Yoder (Jerry) and Marvin Miller of Nappanee, IN.. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, and thirty- six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Magnolia Mennonite Church (2600 Magnolia Dr, Macon, MS 39341). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
