It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna McGuire Gilliland of Macon, Mississippi, born in West Point, Mississippi, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Filmore McGuire Sr. and Edna Holley McGuire. She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Poag of Madison, MS, Charlene Renfrow (Charles) of Madison, MS and Rebecca Anderson (Clayton) of Columbus, MS.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
