With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carol Johnson of Macon, Mississippi, whose life came to an end on November 11, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Nichols and Marie Yost Nichols; her husband Arlo Johnson; and her son-in-law Waldean Peaster. She is survived by: her uncle Minister Claud Unruh of Montezuma; her caregivers, Darlene Rogers, Latoya Clark and Sharonda Gray; her children, Karen Peaster, Janette (Richard Johnson), Glenda (Kendall Jost), Samuel (Lois Johnson) and Steven (Kate Johnson); and her siblings, Joyce (Crist Gearig), Elaine Unruh of Macon, MS and Galen (Carolyn Nichols). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brooksville Mennonite Church (3875 Hopewell Rd, Brooksville, MS 39739). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
