She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry M. Atkins; her parents, Albert Vaughn and Morie Forrester Vaughn; her sisters, Faye Ernest and Barbara Eaton; and her granddaughter Susan Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Johnson Cooper (Jackie) of Mathiston, MS, Tammy Atkins of Maben, MS, Wanda Stafford (Robert) of Centerville, GA, Jerry Wayne Atkins (Jo Ann) of Mathiston, MS and Barry Atkins (Shelia) of Mathiston, MS; and her siblings, Sandra Lester of Houston, MS, Paul Vaughn of Woodland, MS and Dan Vaughn of Pine Bluff, MS. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
