She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ewing (James) of Pheba, MS, Beverly McKinney, Janet Morris of Maben, MS, Rosie Chandler (Kent), Vivian Chandler (Vernell), George Washington Gates Jr. of Maben, MS and James Gates (Victoria) of Houston, MS; and her brother James Thaddeus Daniels (Margert) of Canton. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren.
