He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollie Overton and Minnie Ethel Pellum; his wife Carolyn Edith Pellum; and his siblings, Lillian Raines, Willie C. Pellum and Gene Pellum.
He is survived by: his children, Linda McGarrity (Don) of Spring Hill, TN, Bill Pellum of Hernando, MS, Gail Dewberry (Woody) of Knoxville, TN and Susan Roper Winter (Ken) of Saltillo, MS.; and his grandchildren, Mark McGarrity, Andrew McGarrity, Ryan Pellum, Jason Pellum, Brett Pellum and Katie Roper Kirby. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
