He was predeceased by: his wife Karleen "Kaye" Tillman Brown; his parents, Harvey Brown and Daisy Russell Brown; and his siblings, Paul Brown, Harrison Brown, James Marshall "Billy" Brown, Quay Brown, Drew Carthell "Chicken" Brown and Altha Lee Brown Lee.
He is survived by: his daughter Charleen Sproles (John) of Brandon, MS; his sister June Brown Strider of Rena Lara, MS; and his grandchildren, Matthew Charles Sproles of Brandon, MS and Macy Elizabeth Sproles of Brandon, MS..
