He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Ann Burchfield Dean; and his parents, Fred Eugene and Estelle Ballard Dean. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Richele Dunavent (Arthur) of Hendersonville, NC, Michele Snyder (Danny) of Lake Cormorant, MS, Vicky Bayles (Bruce) of Oxford, MS and Myra Brindley (John) of Memphis, TN; his siblings, Larry Dean (Vicky) of Sparta, TN and Onita Faye Malane of Sumner, MS; his grandchildren, Nicole Dunavent Grant, Alan Bayles, Nicholas Jackson, Katelyn Dunavent, Emily Bayles Powell, Noah Dunavent, Rachel Bayles McGonagall, Claire Brindley Hatfield and Collin Brindley; and his nieces, Elizabeth Malane Gee, Melissa Scott, Melinda Dean, Rebekah Wren, Joella Chudy and Amanda Dean. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
