He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Virgil and Audie Malley McGill; and his siblings, Shirley McGill Boone, Diane McGill Sanchez and James Larry McGill.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla McGill of Lumberton; his children, Steve McGill (Sherri) of Elkton, Maryland, Stephanie Smith (Keith) of Lumberton and Becky Owens (Bobby) of Union Grove, AL; and his brother Homer McGill (Mavis) of Columbia. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
