We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2022, at the age of 75, Michael Robert Sterling of Lumberton, Mississippi, born in Purvis, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claiborne Sterling and Gertrude Sterling (Salter); his wife Irene Sterling; his son Michael Sterling Jr.; and his brother Bill Sterling.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Piercy (Greg), Kim Sterling and Clay Sterling (Alanda); his sister Betty Brown; and his grandchildren, Mandy, Megan, Cody, Chris, Noah, Mackenzie and Luke. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many extended family and friends.
