He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Simmons and Vesta Rae Simmons; and his siblings, Kenneth Ray Simmons, Marcus R. Simmons and Dorcus B. Simmons.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Osborn of Purvis, MS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
