She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Bertress and John P Kersh of Lumberton, MS; her sister Annie Lou Kersh Hartfield; and also Frank Hendricks (Johnnie Ruth). She is survived by: her husband James A Lowe; her stepchildren, James Thad Lowe (Teresa) and Rebekah Paige Lowe Sutton; her grandchildren, Steven Lowe, Robert Everett Lowe, Seth Sutton, Saige Sutton, Kyleigh Christian Price (Trey), Keiryn McLeod and Makenna Shane McLeod; her former spouses, William Guy Hartness III, Karen, Jonna Renee Hartness Creel (Mark) and Andrea Leigh Hartness McLeod; and her sister Johnnie Ruth Hendricks. She is also survived by great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
