It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lourinia Marse of Lumberton, Mississippi, who passed away on October 1, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Mary M. Tipton; her stepmother Gladys Genice Simmons; her brothers, Thomas G. Simmons and Darby H. Simmons; and her nephew Donnie Ray Wright.

She is survived by: her husband Michael A. Marse of Lumberton; her children, Yolanda Goodhouse (Lee) of Lucedale, Lisa White of Youngsville, LA and Elray Dumond (Tiffany) of Cypress, TX; and her sisters, Cynthia Darlene Arnold (Douglas) of Lumberton, Gladys Fay Jones (Billy) of Columbia, Lula Ann Payne (Johnny) of Lumberton, Debbie L. Sistrunk (Bo) of Lumberton and Helen Cook of North Mississippi. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
