It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanny Newton Harrison of Lumberton, Mississippi, who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Madge and James "Muleskinner" Harrison, Sr.; and his grandson Landon. He is survived by: his wife Angela Harrison of Petal; his children, John Scott Harrison (Gipsy) of Jackson, Stephanie Harrison Howell (Grady), Brandi Hales (Jesse) of Ellisville and Markus Simmons (Madison) of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, William, Gavin, Michael, Jekkob, Bretley, Kaitlyn and Gage; and his siblings, Jimmy Harrison (Betty), Brenda Gail Browning (Pat), Janet Easter (Lee), Bubba Harrison (Debbie) and Terry Rhea Harrison (Pam). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
