It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Smith Bilbo (Lumberton, Mississippi), who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oliver and Annie Marie Cole Smith; her former husband James R. Thompson; her husband Cecil Bilbo; her son Michael Stephen Thompson; and her siblings, William A. Smith, Lucille Bilbo, Mary White, Clyde Smith and Geraldine Smith.
She is survived by: her children, James G. Thomspon and Patricia Smith (Laurn). She is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; many beloved nieces and nephews.
