It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet W. Broome of Lumberton, Mississippi, born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Broome; her grandson John Michael Green; and her parents, Geraldine Williams and John E. Williams. She is survived by: her children, Robert Broome (Tina), Jacqueline Collins (Stacy), Stephanie Reaves (Joshua) and Michelle Clark (Allen); her grandchildren, Shane Arthur, Cassidi Hankins, Cody Clark, Dakota Bush, Toni Clark, Brandon Clark, Rustin Broome, Courtney Braswell, Colby Broome, Ayden Reaves, Oliver Collins, Dalton Clark, Dylan Reaves and Danica Clark; her great grandchildren, Zayden Clark, Collin Hankins, Brenton Hankins, Lucas Dyse and Ezra Arthur; her sister Linda Floyd (David); her nephew Paul Floyd; and her great-niece Maeleigh Floyd.
