With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertie R. Smith (Lumberton, Mississippi), who passed away on June 30, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Lee and Rebecca Lee; her siblings, Girtha Davis, Hazel Dearman, Johnnie Daughdrill, Stanton Lee, Dudley Lee and Billy Lee; and her son-in-law Sherrill Corban.
She is survived by: her husband William Plummer Smith of Lumberton; her children, Kevin Smith of Lumberton, Larry Smith (Rhonda) of Oak Grove, Lisa Jones (Kyle) of Lumberton and Cara Corban Seals (Dwight) of Lumberton; and her brother James Wayne Lee of Lumberton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
