It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Eugenia Owen of Lumberton, Mississippi, who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward "Rob" and Annie Clyde Lee (Lazenby); her husband Red Owen; her son Mike Owen; her grandchildren, Bethany Herrin, Kevin Herrin and Brielle Dalton; and her siblings, Frances Lee, Hazel Lyons, Bobby and Fred Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Smith, Glenda Herrin (Mitchell), Debbie Slade and Grady Owen of Lumberton; and her siblings, Edward Lee of Lumberton, Gene Lee (Gwen) of Sherman, TX, Louise Sullivan and Helen Smith of Lumberton. She is also survived by nephews, extended family and friends.
