He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ezra and Obelia Reid (Pickett); his brothers, Billy, Roy and Ed Reid; his niece Kimberly Reid; his daughter-in-law Codie Thompson; and his brothers-in-law, Clayton Standford and Danny Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Jody Thompson of Richton and Billy Dale Reid of Lumberton; his siblings, Inell Reid of Pistol Ridge, Sara Simmons of Pistol Ridge, Myrtis Smith (James) of Pistol Ridge and Joe Reid (Sandra) of Lumberton; and his grandchild Greenleigh Reid. He is also survived by nephews, extended family and friends.
