She was predeceased by: her husband J. C. Brown; her parents, Marvin Claude Strahan and Mary Ladner Strahan; her siblings, Cora Strahan Morris and Larry Lavert Strahan; and her nephews, Douglas and Mitch.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Broome (Donald Prine), Clint Alden Saucier (Brandie) and Cliff Allen Saucier; her siblings, Ilene Strahan Davis (Bill) and Marvin Dwight Strahan (Kathy); her grandchildren, Clayton Broome, Aldyn Saucier and Mitchell Allen Saucier Bass; her great grandchild Brynlee Avalynn Broome; and her nieces and nephews, Mark, Mary, Tina, Larry Jr., Debra Lynn, Donna, Kenny, Kim, Andrea, Kirk and Jennifer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable contributions are made to Asbury Hospice House, 304 S. 40Th Avenue, Hattiesburg, MS 39401.
