He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Overton Johnson and Irene Foster Johnson; his wife Emma Ellingburg Johnson; his siblings, Ruby Lois Costanza, Richard Overton Johnson and Jessie Lee Parke; and his daughter-in-law Beverly Blackwell Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Roger Allen Johnson, Jr. of Powell, MS and Charles Bryant Johnson, Sr. of Lula, MS; his sisters, Betty McIver of Strayhorn, MS and Ann Burchfield of Southaven, MS; his brother-in-law Marvin Ellingburg (Brenda) of Southaven, MS.; his grandchildren, Paige Von Kanel (Randy) of Lexa, AR, Beth Milano (Joe) of Helena, AR, Roger Allen Johnson, III, Charles Bryant Johnson, Jr. (Lesley) of Clarksdale, MS, Laura Goff of Tunica, MS and Scott Humbert (Liz) of Groveland, FL.; his great grandchildren, Tucker Allen Von Kanel (Chloe), Cameron Charles Von Kanel, Ann Marie Von Kanel, Carson Milano, Chase Milano, Lucy Kate Johnson, Charles "Bryant" Johnson, III, Emma Moore Johnson and Virginia Parks Johnson; his close friend Sandra Hardy of West Helena, AR.; and his great grandchildren, Avery and Bryant Johnson. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
