Though Dorothy Alday may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dorothy Alday touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Malette Alday and Cleveland Alday. She is survived by: her cousins, Robert Charles Graves (Bob) of Tunica, John Armistead Graves (Jack) of Tunica, Joseph B Graves (Joe) of Tunica and Linnville Dawn Harris (Linn) of Jackson, MS.; her brothers, Donald Alday and Gene Alday; and her nephew Gene Alday, Jr..

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
