It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Dowdy of Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lamar "Bob" Dowdy; her parents, JB Myrick and Dicy Lee Ratliff Myrick; and her siblings, Jessie Clyde Myrick, Robert Ray Myrick, Joyce Myrick Williams and Johnny Mack Myrick.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Dowdy (Lynn) of Brandon, Natalie Hall (Kenny) of Little Rock, Bobby Dowdy (Amanda) of Hurley and Kim Boler (Eric) of Hurley, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Landon Dowdy (Jackie), Corey Dowdy (Megan), Syndee Wells, Gracee Wells, Reid Hall (Sandy), Krista Hall, Laykan Dowdy, Chase Dowdy, Preston Boler and Peyton Boler; her great grandchildren, Lucas Lugo, Mary Evelyn Dowdy, Hayes Dowdy and Robert Hall; her sisters, Lois Myrick and Helen Clement; and her caregivers, Mary "Boots" Rich and Dawn Wade. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
