It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Avon Evans of Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Evans and Virgie Evans; and his siblings, Frankie, Merle, Gerald, Becky and Kay.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughter Rita Ann Mizell (Mark); his granddaughter Laken Arlana Mizell; his great grandchild Eric Cash Westbrook; and his brother Richard Evans (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
