He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Michael Bufkin; his parents, Otis Rivers Bufkin and Annie Dye Bufkin; and his siblings, Otis Bufkin, Pat Bufkin, Rachael Kirkwood, Rita Bexley, Irene Parker, Noah Bufkin, Jimmy Bufkin and Helen Knox.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Myers Bufkin; his sons, Charles Bufkin (Barbara), Mark Bufkin (Tara) and Nick Bufkin (Lacey); his grandchildren, Christopher (Lisa), Janina (Alicia), Chelcie (Jonathan), Auston (Heather), Taylor (Austin), Lucas (Karley), Hunter, Avery (Luke), Chrislynn (Dallas), Ashtin, Jayden, Kaiden and Allie; his great grandchildren, Landon, Brody, Brendan, Brinley, Greyson, Weston, Matthew and Brayley; his siblings-in-law, Marie Weeks Bufkin, Keith Meyers (Sheila) and Bill Myers; and his daughter-in-law Myrnique Finch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
