He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Carter; his grandson Collin Carter; his mother Ina L. Butler; and his uncle Bobby Carter. He is survived by: his children, Devere Carter (Donna), Harriet Gollott (Ty) and Brian Carter; his grandchildren, Joshua Carter (Kayla), Amber Davis (Javvin), Christopher Scott, Matthew Scott, Ariel Coubert (Kyle), Hagen Carter and Salinas Marble; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Gracie Carter, Tucker, Sawyer Davis, Lincoln, Landry Scott, Allen Charlton, Luke, Skyler Coubert, Casen and Coplen Carter; and his siblings, James Carter (Mattie), Brenda Milam and Connie Dubose. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
